Machine to become - which witch?
PERFORMANCE EXPERIMENT | GRUPO OITO
Why were people taught to fear witches and not those who burned them – or the power structures that legitimized repression and continue to this day? The witch recurs in feminist* interpretations as an archetype of powerful femininity* and repressed experiential knowledge, fueling activism and thwarting authority. How do old and new witch (forces) move? What needs to be (re)enchanted? What witch(es) does one find?
