About the performance

Break & Connection picks up on the signs of the times and examines break and connection, pause and new beginnings from different angles. The moment of breaking with old habits and certainties, which is currently taking place anyway, serves as an occasion for a more fundamental examination of social coexistence.

With this production, Grupo Oito explores the pause as a moment to explore other realities, to adopt new perspectives and to perceive things differently: understanding order through disorder, discovering the invisible alongside the visible, bringing together the secular and the spiritual.

To this end, the group explores spiritual practices and ways of thinking, for example. These show ways to feel connected to oneself in a deeper way and thus also to other people and the environment.
