About the Performance
Becoming-women means the deconstruction of all attributes of femininity and masculinity. It is a means of dissolving all forms of duality and identity. Machine to become_woman is an improvisation-based performance that questions preconceived notions of gender identity and how we can shift the focus from the woman, to the artist and performer with her own freedom of action.
This performance shows the constant change that is stimulated by the presence of the female body on stage in interaction with the audience and their choices.
